Massage Therapist
Meranda Spaulding
I have lived up here since 2010 and I try to explore all parts of Alaska whenever possible. In the summertime, I LOVE to kayak, hike, and explore Alaska by road trips. In the wintertime, I LOVE to leave Alaska....just kidding. My dog absolutely loves it when it snows, so I love to take him on walks in the winter because we both enjoy the cold and the beauty of Alaskan winters. I always get asked what made me become a massage therapist. When I was six years old I was in a horrible car accident with my mother and brother. My mother almost died and ended up needing 26 surgeries. She had to learn how to walk again after the steering wheel crushed both her femurs. I grew up seeing my mother struggle through unimaginable pain and the stress that comes with it. If anyone needed a massage to relieve pain and stress and improve their quality of life it was her. I decided to tour a massage school and signed up for classes that same day. I worked two jobs to pay my way through massage school.
Massage Therapist
Sabrina Garcia
Sabrina is a 2015 graduate of a 500-hour massage therapy program at Holistic Life Institute. In Sabrina's spare time, she enjoys the adventures of being outdoors. Her favorite thing to do is work out at the gym. She also enjoys hiking and camping along with spending quality time with family, and friends. She knows many different modalities that massage has to offer, but she is passionate about helping others create a healthy balance in clients' lives either by relieving any pain, stress, or to simply obtain a relaxation massage. Through Sabrina's education, she has found her niche in Myofascial scraping (gua sha), therapeutic treatments along with many techniques to create more range of motion in joints; however, she likes prenatal, relaxation and hot stones. Sabrina knows from personal experience of just how beneficial massages can be. She herself suffers from chronic injuries, and therefore knows how great it feels to be relieved of pain and discomfort.
